Life is happy in the land of Academia and Scheduling, BELIEVE IT OR NOT! Loaded up next semester with English courses, and some gened requirements. So, as always, now is the point in time I ask humbly for your opinion on:
Eng 302 Intro to Creative Writing
Phil 151 Introductory Logic
Eng 309 Chaucer & his Age
Phys 103 Elem Astronomy w/lab
I’m also in Eng 206 Global Issues in Lit, which I signed up for under the misunderstanding it was required for my major, but apparently not, so if anyone is trying to get into that class and wants my spot let’s work something out :)
I’m particularly interested in what anybody knows about this astronomy with lab business: I’m allergic to math and have a love/hate relationship with science, and the course catalog didn’t provide much insight.
Also, who has nice things to say about the Education program here?
…mean things?
…anything?

OK, so that doesn’t actually make much sense outside my head, but I couldn’t resist.

So, I’m a freshman, I’m technically an English major, but I’m trying to pick a “useful” major as well ’cause I’ve always wanted to major in English for fun, and then something else for serious.
Currently I’m enrolled in English 295, a writing intensive freshman seminar (International Short Fiction By Women Authors), Sociology 200 (kind of on accident/as a space-filler), and intro to Computer Sciences 110 (the section learning python).
As long as I’m indecisively browsing and trying to devise a course of study, what are some classes I should not miss during my time here?
